Visiting the Farm
The morning of October 14 we took the girls to go apple picking. We went to the 4-H Farm in West Hartford where, curiously enough, they really didn't have any apple picking that was easy to get to. They did have two pretty cool things, though - a little "farm", which was really a barn with a few animals, and a field of raspberries.
Even though the barn with the animals was really pretty small and not that impressive, seeing it through the eyes of a two-year old made it seem like the most amazing place on earth. Hayley meets a turkey, up close and personal, for the first time ever.
Shelby's turn to meet Mr. Gobble Gobble. My have to pay a visit to this particular farm a few days before Thanksgiving...
Even Courtney got into the act - though I'm pretty sure she won't remember meeting her first chicken.
Hayley got to see some cute goats, too. She even got to pet one!
And pigs - no petting here, though...
And sheep...

And, last but not least, bunny rabbits!
